I introduced her to it last year. Planted the seeds of hope and initial curiosity. I left her to time and circumstance. When it was right, it took hold.
Yesterday she said she had finally tried. What she accomplished in this week alone gave her to hope to move beyond her present circumstances and imagine a much larger future.
There will be challenges and setbacks but those feelings she now feels are well worth whatever bumps will come.
