If I am completely honest, this year of 8 was great in many ways:
Overall Theme: The strength of truth. How it clearly separates, reshapes and elevates. A glimpse of truth is a reality shift that reveals how empty people and things are when we no longer believe in them.
Accountability and courage are the keys to the truest version of a person and easy to see.
Emotional intelligence, like water, settles at its lowest point. Manipulators see only manipulation, whereas an honest person sees understanding.
Some can be helped. Others cannot and must change from within because they are not disgusted with themselves yet. Leave them and let them.
Value self above all others and all else and all falls into place. Value is not ego or anger or silence or control – it’s healing beyond the comfortable devil one knows, to grow better.
Share the self carefully but without games – fearless while others only fear, intentionally and without manipulation. Then, people along with their intentions will always be shown and you grow stronger through the proof of truth.
Never a loss, always a lesson. There were many until I realized…
We are not all equal. While there is something to learn from everyone, be careful with what you spend on those who reveal they are nowhere near you energetically.
At the end of things, there is a lightness and freedom in having been honest. Precisely because honesty is not easy in a world of many deceptions.
Perspective doesn’t change deception or the consequences of truth.
Mistaking one’s addiction to a racing heart or rumination because of insecurity and jealousy and playing games is too often mistaken for love. Explain your difference and the difference once, if they return to this mire of dysfunction – leave and let them.
I wanted counterparts to grow with, but never needed them to grow at all. Big difference.
Believe all will find their better selves and hope they fail forward, see the cycle repeating and finally ask, “what can I change….” From a distance. Because all these folks have to share is chaos that will destroy your peace.
